Datu Sadja Matthew Pajares Yngson, the 70th Lord of Freckenham made an official visit to the village of Freckenham on May 19, 2018, coinciding with the Royal Wedding Day of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The visit also included a courtesy call to the elected Councillors of the Freckenham Parish Council.
These historic royal documents are of most importance to the Manor of Freckenham. They are legitimate scanned photocopies of the original charters found only at and secured by the National Archives. They were officially researched and requested from the archives by the 70th Lord of Freckenham for public knowledge and perusal. The documents are as follows:

Registrum Roffense - A Collection of Ancient Records, Charters, and Instruments of Diverse Kinds, Necessary for Illustrating the Ecclesiastical History and Antiquities of the Diocese and Cathedral Church of Rochester was a book written and transcribed by John Thorpe of Rochester and published by his son after his father's passing. The book, which was written in Latin, was printed in 1769 and includes a comprehensive history of Freckenham from the time King Alfred the Great gave it to the Bishops of Rochester in the year AD 895.
The Manors of Suffolk: Notes on their History and Devolution was a book written by Prof. Walter Arthur Copinger, a professor of law, antiquarian and bibliographer. This excerpt from Volume 4 of the book printed in 1909 describes the history of Freckenham as researched by Prof. Copinger. It is a detailed account of the Manor of Freckenham from its establishment in the year AD 895 until the late 1800s just before Prof. Copinger's passing.
